The Kamehameha Schools "Warrior" Band and Color Guard has performed worldwide to critical acclaim and recognition. Comprised of over 150 students in grades 9-12, the band is under the direction of Mr. John R. Riggle and Assistant
Director Mr. Aristotle Santa Cruz. National and international performances have included the 100th Anniversary Tournament of Roses Parade; 1984 Fiesta Bowl Parade in Arizona; 1982 Portland Rose Fesitval Parade; 1991 Orange Bowl Parade; 1994 London New Years Day Parade; and President Clinton's 1993 Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C.
In the closing of the year 1999 and opening of the year of 2000, the Kamehameha "Warrior" Band and Color Guard had the distinct honor of being selected as the only high school band in Hawaii, as well as the United States, to
receive an invitation from the Principality of Monaco to perform at the Royal Palace of Monaco.
